Aims & Scope

Stress, Trauma, and Crisis: An International Journal is devoted exclusively to the study of the specific policies, evidence-based practices and techniques, and research related to stress, trauma, and crisis. The journal focuses on the latest issues, clinical innovations and outcome studies of professionals and researchers working in mental health and other practice settings. Formerly titled Crisis Intervention and Time-Limited Treatment - Stress, Trauma, and Crisis: An International Journal takes on a new title and a new direction to provide its audience with timely and critical information.

The scope includes coverage of topics such as chronic stress, stress management, and crisis intervention in a variety of settings such as family, school, workplace, and community. In addition, stress and trauma as they relate to non-normative life events such as natural disasters, terrorism, child abuse, mental illness, and domestic violence are examined. Program and clinical outcome studies, research articles, literature reviews, and meta-analysis articles are also included.
